What is a Mission Ambassador?
Anyone who believes in the overall mission of our organization – people who volunteer their time, sit on boards, donate money, attend events, and work to meet the same goal that the organization was created to meet. Mission ambassadors personalize a nonprofit. They are able to emotionally connect with donors and investors. They add value and can turn one-time donors into lifelong investors.
How to be an effective mission ambassador:
1. Engage via SOCIAL MEDIA
You don’t need 15,000 followers to make an impact. All you need is a willingness to help spread the word! We make it easy for ambassadors to quickly share information with your followers.
2. Read and Share our FY23 Impact Report
Hot off the presses! Our FY23 Annual Report shares our work and many reasons WHY YPN from staff to participants to volunteers. We are so proud of the impact that we make to those who want to be the best parents that they can be, and of the wonderful partnerships and support that allows us to live our mission. We invite you to join us as we continue to Support, Educate, and Empower families. Together, we can impact generations.
3. Listen to and Share our Podcast
Join YPN as we venture into the world of streaming! We are sitting down with special guests from our YPN Family about their WHY YPN? From staff, volunteers, participants, community members and more – we dive into the stories, connections and reasons behind decades of partnership, passion, and persistence of those who support our mission.
4. Write a YPN REVIEW
