YPN provides services at no charge to parents with children ages 0-5, living in Linn County. Regardless of race, income, marital status or living situation.

English, Bilingual Spanish, French, Swahili, Pashto & Dari groups are held at Kirkwood Community College 

All groups are held Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:15pm. Free transportation to/from group is available; Free meal from 5:30-6pm; Free childcare beginning at 6pm.

YPN strives to Support, Educate, and Empower you by offering:

  • Prenatal & parenting education groups provide you with support through your journey of pregnancy and parenting

  • Home Visits using Parents As Teachers curriculum for those who can’t attend group or have addition needs

  • Access to our incentive-based We Care Shop for diapers, clothes & more by participating in groups, home visits, and making healthy choices 

  • Professional and encouraging staff & volunteer facilitators who care about you and your family

  • Multi-lingual programming & literacy opportunities (Bilingual Hispanic group and Multilingual African group)

  • Youth development assessments, resources and peer support to help you and your family be the best you can be!

  • 50 We Care Shop points after completion of interest form and initial program intake and 50 additional We Care Shop points after attending groups!
